My son has his first bad sunburn! He went swimming at his mimi's without sunscreen and here are the results! OUCH! I have had sunburns my entire life... thanks to fair skin. I know how much they hurt and I feel helpless when it comes to his pain! I have been using Aloe Vera on it, does anyone else have any suggestions on how to relieve the pain??? ReplyDeleteThey sell aloe w/ a numbing agent (it's probably with the sunscreen or in the pharmacy)
Put the bottle in the refrigerator and apply as often as desired.
It really helps!
Ouch! I feel his pain, as I had so many of those as a kid due to fair skin as well. Do you have access to fresh aloe vera? Straight from the plant is the best thing I've found.

ReplyDeletebut it is in a spray can and they gave it to me when I had babies to spray on my whooha{stitches--OUCH!!--sorry TMI}
but that seems to help my kiddies when they get a sunburn!
